My condolences to the family. The bible offers a very comforting thought at Revelation 21:3, 4 where it talks about a time in the near future when God will "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Also at John 5:28, 29 it tells us, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Yes, we have a real hope of seeing our dead loved ones again when they are resurrected into a righteous new world. For more comforting thoughts please visit jw.org and search "When a loved one dies."
