Services for Ruth E. (Hiett) Wells will be held at 10:00  Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at the Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 Friday, November 20, 2015.
She died at 6:57 am Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 27, 1924 in Hardin County to the late H. Guilford and Emma (Gilmore) Hiett. On April 28, 1964 she married Arthur Wells and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2012.
Surviving are a son Ed Wells of Mt. Victory; sister Jeanne (Carl) Ramga of Riverview, FL; 2 nieces Jan Baggett and Babs Dobbs; and 2 nephews David Ramga and Danny Ramga.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister Donna Robinson, 1 brother Leroy Perry, 1 half brother Gilmore Hiett, and 1 niece Sally Workman.
Ruth has been a bookkeeper working at Kraus Jewelry Store and Hardin National Bank before retiring.
She was a 1942 graduate of Kenton High School, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Hardin Memorial Hospital Guild, and VFW Aux. Unit #19.
She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, OSU football, home, and doing for Arthur.
