Mary was one of the Best. Fair, Intelligent, Happy, Hard working, and Giving. To Friends and Family. I felt she never met a Stranger. I looked forward to seeing her, to chat and share a hug. The World has lost a true light!🎇

Jim and family. We re sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. We don't get the paper anymore so we are sort of out of the know. We hope she is at peace now with her loved ones. We hope you can find peace and comfort in knowing she passed from one form to a spiritual being quietly. May God bless you all.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mary Kay, she was a great neighbor, teacher, and friend. She touched so many lives and will be remembered for the joy and love she gave to others. You have lost your Mother but she was so proud of the legacy she left that lives on in you. Take care of yourselves and remember the fun times.

Mrs. Carey was my 3rd grade teacher in LaRue and although I only had her one year as a teacher my grandma n grandpa davidhizer lived right beside her down the road. Oh my gosh bud n Linda I'm so sorry but I'm also so happy that you were blessed to have your mother for so long!! She was an amazing woman! I saw her years later after her teaching me and had to make it a point to tell her she was my favorite teacher and she made the most impact on my life out of all my teachers! I loved her so much! I thank you so much and I will definitely try and come to honor her!

What I most remember about Mary Kay was that she was not only interesting,... she was interested in "you".
She lived a long, good life and was always up for a trip somewhere. Her children and family loved her and will be greatly missed.

Linda, Errol and family...........I am so glad I got to meet her several times over the years I have known your family. I felt like I knew her well from stories you would tell. She will be deeply missed, but is now in a blessed place. A contribution in her name has been sent to the Hepburn United Methodist Church.
