Services for Marjorie L. Ramsey will be held at 12:00 Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory. Burial will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 until time of services on Tuesday.
She died at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Hardin Hills Health Center. She was born on April 1, 1916 in Logan County to the late John and Mae (Wyndom) Johnson. On September 1, 1936 in Bellefontaine she married Richard L. Ramsey and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1992.
Surviving are son Darrell (Beverly) Ramsey of Ridgeway; 3 granddaughters Jennifer (Jason) Wright of Ridgeway; Rosemary (Dax) Pitts of Dublin; and Sara (Jason) Vacari of Marysville; 9 great grandchildren Cameron Smith; Emma Smith; Jesiah Wright; Julia Pitts; Meredith Pitts; Griffin Pitts; Mara Vacari; Quinn Vacari; and Sage Vacari; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son David Ramsey and sister Marilyn Kinney.
Marjorie was a homemaker and a farm wife. She also was a member of the Ridgeway United Methodist Church.
She really enjoyed her granddaughters, especially playing board games with them, loved animals, going to basketball games and horse shows.
