Services for Joshua LeRoy Ferrell will be held at 1:00 Monday, November 6, 2017 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 until time of services on Monday.
He died 2:48 pm Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 12, 1986 in Kenton to Tamara "Tammy" (Prater) Ferrell. On February 8, 1996 he was adopted by Leo D. Ferrell. It was the happiest day of his life and celebrated it, like it was his second birthday.
Surviving are his parents; a sister, Tina Ferrell of Findlay; brother, Scott (Rita) Manns of New Market, TN; and uncles, Ellis Jr (Melissa) Prater of Kenton; and Jeff (Ginger) Prater of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ellis and Nancy Prater and Ron and Martha Harp.
Joshua was a 2004 graduate of Kenton High School and Ohio Hi-Point. He worked for Osborn's Towing and Recovery.
He was interested in military history and collecting knives. He enjoyed being with family, shooting his bow, being outdoors, and loved his dogs.
