A celebration of Life service for Harry F. King will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Steve Walter officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 until time of services on Tuesday.
He died at 4:27 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1933 in Hardin County to the late Lewis and Nettie (Black) King. On November 25, 1956 he married his beloved wife of 60 years Marilyn Gullet and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Keith (Vickie) King of Aurora and Robert (Lori) King of West Jefferson; 5 grandchildren, Kelly; Foster; Jonathan; Spencer; and Brendan; and 1 sister, Mary Rostorfer of Rushsylvania.
He attended Ohio Northern University before going to work for Ford Motor Company in Lima, where he retired after 42 years as a pipefitter. He also was the owner and operator of Kings Landing at Indian Lake.
Harry was a Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He attended Epworth United Methodist Church and enjoyed old cars, antiquing, and traveling.
