Visitation for Franklin "Butch" Holcomb will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 Friday, April 21, 2017 at Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
He died at 8:15 am Monday, April 17, 2017 at Kenton Nursing & Rehab. He was born on March 5, 1954 in Kenton to Franklin A. Holcomb and Ruby (Baum) Piper. On July 19, 1985 he married Sheila Sunderman and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Myriah (Kevin) Mundy of Kenton and Sasha Holcomb of Kenton; 1 son, Joseph Sunderman of Cincinnati; 7 grandchildren, Ayden; Olivia; Isaiah; Audrey; Ariana; Jonah; and Caleb; his mother and stepfather Ruby and Jim Piper of Courtland, and stepmother Marie Holcomb of Kenton. 3 sisters Deb Holcomb of Kenton; Jenny (Mike) Mosko of Courtland; and Michelle Huss of Kentucky; 2 brothers Robert Holcomb of Kenton and Kurt (Mandy) Holcomb of Kenton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Franklin A. Holcomb.
He worked for Shaw Environmental Group in Findlay. 
Butch enjoyed fishing, camping, and working on cars.
