Charlene & I became friends my Jr/Sr year. Some of the events we shared together were: dressing up as scarecrows for our Halloween band performance. Did she ever mention how we, with the other bass drum players, rolled up on our drums to play , standing on our “heads” like? It was quite a balancing act. We were roommates for our band trip to New York. We were in Campus Life together. We stood out in the pouring down rain together for our Sr. trip to King’s Island to hear the 60’s group, the “Spinner’s” perform. My son & I visited her farmhouse when he was 9. We spent the afternoon riding the horses around her driveway, visiting the baby pigs @ the pig farm, & I believe swimming in a pond. I attended her wedding 10+ yrs ago & remember releasing the butterflies as well. The last time I seen her was either @ this event or a class reunion of ours. We shared a lot of laughs together. We resembled each other in many ways. Our hair, our smiles, our beliefs. I’ve read many wonderful condolences that were left from her family & friends. I just wanted to share a few things that I remembered about her as well. I pray for strength & comfort for the family, as their lives will be different without her.

To the family . I went and seen Charlene today. She had not changed at all. Still very pretty and had that little smile on her face. Looked very pretty. I also met her husband. Just from the small conversation we had, you could tell he loved her a great deal. He along with everyone else will miss her. She doesn't have to suffer anymore and will be waiting on everyone, but is reunited with her heavenly family now. May God Bless each and Everyone of you.
