There will be no services for William Joe Archey. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
He died on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at OSU East in Columbus. He was born on September 27, 1949 in Union City, Indiana to the late Lee Roy and Jo Retta (Grile) Archie. On August 23, 1969 he married Bertha Baker and they later divorced.
Surviving are a daughter; April (Frederick Jr ) McCafferty of Kenton, 3 sons; Robert (Daphany Stover) Archey of Bellefontaine, Todd (Janette) Archey of Ansonia, Jason (Jennifer) Martin of Bellefontaine, a sister; Sharon Beavins of Salamonia, IN, 4 brothers; Jim (Birtie) Archey of Versailles, John (Linda) Archey of Gettysburg, OH, Larkin Archey of Greenville, Doug (Kimberly) Archey of Union City, OH, 6 grandchildren; Patric, Tyler, Shauna, Ryan, Azalia, Hezakia, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a step-father; James Wilkinson and a sister; Marsha Fields.
William loved to be outdoors and seeing the countryside while driving truck. 
He enjoyed fishing and working on the farm. In his younger years, he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
