Graveside services for Veronica Holcomb will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Veronica died on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 14, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leo and Jenny (Mathney) Keith. On January 28, 1964 she married Conneth "Joe" Holcomb and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Surviving are a son; Richard (Robyn Rodgers) Holcomb of Kenton, 2 brothers; Floyd "Pete" (Linda) Keith of Mt. Rose, MI, Alfred "Spike" Keith of Saginaw, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Virgil Keith, Jim Keith, Tony Keith, Eddie Keith, Bobby Keith, and her sisters; Martha Keith, Fontella Cooper, Florence Brown, and Kathryn Keith.
Veronica worked for North Electric until she moved to Florida, where she worked as a cook for several restaurants. When she moved back to Ohio she worked for Kroger until her retirement.
Veronica had a true passion for baking. She could always be found in the kitchen making fresh pies, cookies and homemade bread.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals or Nationwide Children's Hospital.
