At his request, there will be no services for Verl “Bill” William McGrath. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and time.

Verl passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his residence peacefully. He was born on April 22, 1960, in Kenton to the late Roger and surviving Phyllis (Smith) McGrath.

Also surviving are daughter, Rachael McGrath, two sons, Shad (Heather) McGrath and Aaron McGrath, brothers, Ron and Roger McGrath.  Grandchildren, Devin (Delaney), Shaylee (Dalton), Regann, Ambria (Reese), Kayson, Zashaun, Maddalyn, Dillon, Carson.

Great Grandchildren Vaeda, Eiley, Gannyn, Westyn, Trace, Elliot.

Bill was an avid fisherman and loved to visit with the grandchildren and great children often. He enjoyed mowing as well as pulling a few tabs on tickets at the local watering hole. He was considered a male Martha Stewart of the gardening world.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
