Funeral services for Timothy Byrne will be private. Burial will take place at Grove Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Timothy died on Monday, May 24, 2021 at The Ohio State University in Columbus. He was born on July 26, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late Rev. Herbert and Beatrice (Butcher) Byrne. On June 22, 1973 he married Jackie Sparks and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son; Scott Byrne of Forest, 3 grandchildren; Brennen, Conner , and Addison Byrne, as well as some special friends; Makena, Eden and Kason Barnes.
Tim worked for AEP for 38 years before retiring.
He attended Abundant Life Assembly of God church in Kenton.
Tim was a sports fanatic, especially Michigan teams such as the Michigan Wolverines, and Detroit Lions. Most of the family vacations were centered around going to various sporting events. He also had a passion for music and collected numerous records and cd's of all kinds of various genres of music. Tim and Jackie also enjoyed spending time at their second home in Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Not By Choice or the Abundant Life Assembly of God church in Kenton.
