of Kenton
A funeral service for Thomas A. Brien will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Marseilles United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Burial will follow at McKindree Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 P.M to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
Tom passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. He was born at the former San Antonio Hospital in Kenton on September 27, 1947 to the late LeRoy and Lucille (Weaver) Brien. On July 5, 1969 he married Kay Ann Barrett and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a daughter; Amy (Johnnie) Eagle of Galloway, a son; John (Kriss) Brien of Kenton, grandchildren; Thomas, Mara, Darrick Eagle, Preston, Maddix, Harrison, Gage, Witton Brien and siblings; Don (Darlene) Brien of Kenton, and Barbara Brien of Boise, Idaho.
Tom was a 1965 graduate of Kenton High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Tom was a supervisor on the Soil Conservation Board and a member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church. He was a farmer his entire life. In his free time, Tom enjoyed golfing and restoring antique John Deere tractors. Most of all, Tom loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
