Thelma Beverly (Osborne) Young

Thelma Beverly (Osborne) Young, age 93, formerly of Kenton, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at The Heritage Assisted Living in Findlay, Ohio. She was born on May 1, 1933, in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia to the late John Lee and Iva Belle (Keith) Osborne She later married Clarence Young, who preceded her in death in 1976. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Thelma is survived by her four children: Clarence David Young of Bucyrus, Connie Harris of Findlay, Debbie Young of Springfield, and Karen (Daniel) Dorsten of Kenton. She is also survived by two stepdaughters, Barbara Young of Galion and Geraldine Arent of Fostoria; a brother, Charles Osborn of Ashland; ten grandchildren, Christy, Cindy, Kelly, Wendell Young, Jason Harris, Tiffany Lachner, Jamie McAdams, Gary Young, Tara Benson, and Cody Young; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John and Gary Young; a stepdaughter, Jackie Farner; and eight siblings, Suzy Gustin, Joan Jones, Katherine Scott, Emma Wahl, Russell Osborne, and Juld, Harry, and William Vaughn.

Thelma enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and sewing, but her most cherished time was spent with her family.

In honor of Thelma, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
