Private burial for Steven E. Brown will take place at Otterbein Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Western Reserve Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1967, in Kenton, OH at San Antonio Hospital to the late Larry D. and the surviving Kathleen I. (Dugan) Brown. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister; Lynne (Dan) Wetmore of Albuquerque, NM, 2 brothers; L. David (Angela Brady) Brown of Nashville, Doug (Crissy) Brown of West Mansfield, 4 nieces/nephews, Madison Brown, Samuel Wetmore, Tobin Wetmore, and Elissa (Justin) Gray.

Steve worked as an auditor with the Carter Lumber Company. Steve was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his friends. When he wasn't outdoors, Steve would be playing cards or watching sports. His favorite teams were the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
