Stanley Earl Price 82
of Kenton
Stan passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. Born on March 10, 1943, in Jackson, Ohio. Stan lived a life full of love, hard work, and dedication to his family.
Stan retired from Diado Metal in Bellefontaine after many years of devoted service. A man of quiet strength and steady hands, he was known for his love of working on cars, his faithful dog Sadie by his side, and his enduring enjoyment of classic Westerns.
On September 10, 1976, Stan married the love of his life, Donna (Roby) Price. Together they built a family grounded in love, loyalty, and laughter. He was preceded in death by Donna, his parents, Amanda Brooker and Sam Price, his brother, Thomas (Tommy) Price and his stepdaughter, Shannon Gill.
Stan leaves behind a legacy of love in his children: Rick Price, Randal "Randy" (Tammy) Price, Greg (Melinda) Price, Stacy (David) Shepherd, and Shawn Gill. He is also survived by his brother, Everett Price and sister-in-law, Karen, as well as his many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
To his family, Stan was more than just a father and grandfather—he was a role model, a friend, and a constant presence who could always be counted on. His sense of humor, warm heart, and strong hands will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Stanley’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 12PM at his daughter Stacy's cabin. Please contact the family for directions. In honoring his memory, the family encourages you to take a moment to fix something with your hands, tell a good story, or simply watch a Western in his honor.
He was the best dad and grandpa—steadfast, kind, and true. He will be missed beyond words.
Memorial donations in Stanley's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
