of Kenton
A celebration of life for Shirley M. Rowe will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Shirley died on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Hardin Memorial E.R. in Kenton. She was born on December 7, 1947 in Kenton to the late Kelly and Irene (Brewer) Rowe.
Surviving are a daughter; Lisa (Leo Close) Coleman of Bellefontaine, a son; Tim (Melissa) Ervin of Kenton, 3 sisters; Louise (Burnise) Perry of Fayetteville, N.C., Jo (Roy) Robinson of Ridgeway, Iris Mumaugh of Kenton, 4 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son; Kelly Ervin and a daughter; Michelle Ervin.
Shirley attended the House of Prayer Penetecostal Church in Kenton.
She enjoyed puzzle books, Bingo and playing solitaire. She also collected angel figurines and loved cats. Shirley was outgoing and never knew a stranger. She would talk to anyone and try to make their day better.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
