Funeral services for Sharon Sue Hamilton will be private. Burial will take place at Fairview McDonald Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sharon died on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1950 in Kenton to the late Ollie and Christina (Poe) Bailey. On January 31, 1969 she married David Hamiton and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 sons; Jason (Jillian) Hamilton of Bellefontaine, Jonathan (Angie) Hamilton of Lakeview, 3 sisters; Janet (Richard) Elliott of Lancaster, Gloria Cassity of Jackson, MI, Brenda (Dick) Zeigler of Alger, 4 grandchildren; Logan (Amber) Hamilton, Alexis (Spence) Bailey, Kobe Hamilton, Kambrey Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by a brother; Jerry Bailey.
Sharon worked many years as a nurses aid in the various nursing homes around Hardin County. She was also employed for Yazel in Lakeview for 10 years.
Sharon was a member of the Crossroads Church of God in Lima, where she volunteered to help with various church dinners, as well as volunteering for the soup kitchen.
She enjoyed reading and playing with her dogs Bailey and Tucker. Her true passion was her family, who she loved dearly and loved to spend time with.
