Funeral services for Sarah Lou Clark will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Dennis Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
Sarah passed away on February 19, 2023 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was born on January 13, 1942 in Hillsboro, Ohio to the late Edward and Margaret (Rockhold) Burns. On October 26, 1959 she married Myron Phillip Clark Sr. and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Gwenda (Norris) Bevis of Lima, Angela Clark (Dan Weaver) of Mt. Victory, 1 son; Gerald Clark of Las Vegas, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Myron Clark Jr. and infant son; Allen Clark, brothers; Donald (Mary)Burns, William Burns, Cecil (Josephine) Burns, sisters; Mildred (Lester) Robinson, Geneva (Junior) Burns, infant sister; Martha Ellen Burns and great grandson; Huxsten.
Sarah was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Lima and also attended Payne Chapel Church in Kenton.
She enjoyed spending time with family, going to family reunions and doing genealogy for the Clark family. Sarah was a very social person that never met a stranger.
