Funeral services for Richard "Dick" Henry Terrill will be private. Burial will take place at Dunkirk Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dick passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 6, 1934 in Ridgeway to the late Harvey and Ruth (Bayliss) Terrill. On June 19, 1955 he married Eleanor Good and they were married 68 years.
Surviving are his wife, his children; Mark (Cinda) Terrill of Kenton, Brian Terrill of Bellefontaine, Lisa (Tim) Striker of Kenton, grandchildren; Amber (Wes) Woltz, Shenna (Travis Capelle) Striker, Sean Terrill, Chelsea (Josh Davis) Terrill, Chirstopher (Tiffanie) Striker, Mason Terrill, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings; Howard (Becky) Terrill, Jane (Al) Damschroder, Janet (Dick) Jones, Dean (Linda) Terrill and several nieces and nephews.
Dick was a 1952 graduate of Ridgeway High School. He retired from Arvin Meritor/Rockwell and farmed his entire life. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church of Kenton and involved in several organizations, including; the Ohio Western Horse Association, Huber Museum and the Hardin County Restorers.
Dick loved farm life. He raised show horses, restored cars and tractors and would watch anything that was western related. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and camping.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Walnut Grove Methodist Church of Kenton.
