A graveside memorial service with military rites for Richard A. Scott will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 
Richard passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Shawnee Manor in Lima. He was born on March 18, 1938 in Foraker, Ohio to the late Roy and Della (Huff) Scott. 
Richard is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Teia and Scott Dodge of Forest.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Robert Scott, Henry "Hank" Scott and sisters, Hannah Shafer, Audrey Newman and May Daum.
Richard was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was a very private man who kept to himself. He enjoyed going on rides around the countryside and taking care of his dog, "Nubby".
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's honor may be made to the Amvets Riders.
