A graveside service for Phyllis Ann Glock will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Phyllis died on May 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 17, 1932 in Richwood, Ohio to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Cary) Kneisley. On March 17, 1956 she married Norman Glock at the St. John's Evangelical & Reformed Church in Kenton and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2015.
Surviving are a son; Steven (Melissa) Glock of Urbana, daughters; Lynn (Rob) Jacobs of Kenton, Jill (Scott) Eldridge of Lakeview, grandchildren; Brittanie (Habib) Shakkour or Rocky River, OH, Taylor Glock of Columbus, Connor Glock of Urbana, Zachary Glock of Urbana, great-grandchildren; Indy Shakkour, and a brother; Carey (Shirley) Kneisley.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert Kneisley, Jay Kneisley, and an infant daughter; Carlyn Glock.
Phyllis was a 1950 graduate of Forest High School. She was a hard working farm wife for over 60 years.
Phyllis was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Church in Kenton.
She enjoyed baking, gardening, reading and sewing. Phyllis also loved to attended her grandchildren's sporting events as often as she could.
After her husband passed, Phyllis became an avid OSU Sports and Cleveland Indians fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hardin County Shriners or the Hardin County Community Foundation.
