Graveside services for Phillip L. Jordan will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 06, 2023, at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 05, 2023, at the Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.

He passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus with his family at his side. He was born on March 03,1946, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Darrel W. and Georgia P. (Williams) Jordan.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Karen (Koehler) Jordan, sons: Michael (Carrie Jo) Jordan and Brian (Niki) Jordan, and grandchildren: Paige (Garth) McDorman, Logan (Regan) Guenther, Trey Shelton, and Hunter (Bailey) Koehler. Also surviving are great grandchildren: Jax, Waylin, Carmen, Carsyn, Landry, Bennett, and Ridge, sister: Marsha (Mike) Barton, sister-in-law: Sandra (Paul) Rapp, brothers- in- law: Tim (Carol) Koehler, Jeff (Brenda) Koehler, and Louie Meddles. 

He was preceded in death by son, Gregory Phillip Jordan, brother: Duane Jordan, sister: Sharon Green, sisters- in -law: Linda (Van Buskirk) Koehler, Connie (Koehler) Meddles, and June Jordan a niece, Mindy Seabert, and brother-in-Law: Melvin Seabert.
Phil was a 1964 graduate of Ridgemont High School. He proudly served in the third squadron of the l l" Armored Cavalry in the US army. He served in Vietnam in 1966-67. In 1969 he joined the Ohio State Highway Patrol and served as a Trooper for 9 years prior to owning Jordan's Corner Market in Kenton. He later hired on at Honda of America in Marysville and worked there for 23 years before retiring as a Coordinator in the Die Maintenance Department.
Phil loved to tell stories, joke and laugh. He was proud of his family and over the years, loved watching his sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's ball games. He loved classic cars and his 1961 Chevrolet truck. 

Memorial donations in Phillips honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the Amvets Post 1994 in Kenton.
