Funeral services for Norman "Butch" Madison will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Chuck Fox officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Butch passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at his residence in Kenton. He was born on February 12, 1947, in Kenton to the late Earl and Thelma (Devore) Madison. On March 9, 1967, he married Phylliss Adams, and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are his children, Angie Pyles, Richard (Ethel) Madison, grandchildren, Bianca (Nick) Bays, Malia (Eric) Pyles, great-grandchildren, Colton Bays, Madelyn Bays, a sister, Helen Worthington, a brother, Franklin Madison, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Madison and siblings, Robert Madison, Carl Madison, Jack Madison, Gary Madison, Richard Madison, James Madison, Sharon Madison, Billy Madison, and Lillian Wentz.
Butch was a U.S. Army Veteran, being stationed in Germany during Vietnam.
Butch worked construction for many years, as well as working for Honda Transmissions before retiring. He was a hardworking man who loved his family.
In his free time, Butch always wanted to be outside. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and playing frisbee golf. He would also always help his fellow neighbor with projects or mowing.
Memorial donations in Butch's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
