A private graveside service for Nellie L. Oman will be held at Van Horn Cemetery near Findlay. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died on Friday, April 24, 2020 at The Good Samaritan Manor in Arlington. She was born on August 8, 1931 in Marion County to the late Elimiael and Etta (Starkey) Wolfe. On December 26, 1950 she married Joseph Oman Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.
Surviving are 2 sons; Joseph Oman Jr of Marion, Myron (Carla) Oman of Dunkirk, 3 grandchildren; Chad (Nichole) Oman of Toledo, Paul (Sabrina) Parker of Marion, Jan (Tim) Andrews of Lima, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in law; Lois Oman and 4 sisters; Dorothy Shonk, Vala Shonk, Audrey Todd and Edna Wolfe.
Nellie was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Dunkirk where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years.
She was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She enjoyed doing crafts and baking. She also enjoyed flowers and  was a member of the Flower Club.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Grace United Methodist Church in Dunkirk.
