of Alger
A graveside service for Nancy Jane Arnett will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Preston Cemetery in Alger. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Nancy passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at St. Rita's Health Center in Lima. She was born on July 20, 1952 in Lima to the late Lark Howard and Minnie (Bryant) Ray. On May 25, 1970 she married Elwood Arnett and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children; Michelle (Kyle) Lemar, Shonda Meeks, Chasity Castle, Calvin Arnett, Nellie (Robert) Stemen, grandchildren; Brooke (Patrick) Parton, Taylor (Eddie) Huffmen, Lexi Burkett, Jayvin Castle, Ella Lemar, great-grandchildren; Ava, Karson, Gracelynn, Kaisley, Riverlyn, Renly, 4 brothers; Lonnie (Candy) Howard, Clyde (Brenda) Howard, Kenneth "Buck" Howard, Andy Ray (Amy) Howard, sister; Alma (Lester) Burkett, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons; David Arnett, Darrell Arnett, a granddaughter; Nickencie Castle, and a son-in-law; Jason Castle.
Nancy loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. She loved God and was a blessing to anyone she was around. Nancy attended Quick Step Pentecostal Church of God and was strong in her faith.
Memorial donations in Nancy's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
