A Mass of Christian Burial for Mona Kay Ramge will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton with Rev. Father William J. Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2019 at The Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. following the visitation.

She died on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born on June 16, 1947 in Kenton to the late Robert and Lucile (Hord) Deerwester. On November 11, 1967 she married John Ramge and he survives in Kenton. 

Also surviving are 2 sons; John Andrew (Shelly) Ramge of Kenton and Jed Ramge of Kenton. 2 sisters; Brenda (Bill) Holden of Findlay and Kristi Harp of Forest. 1 brother; Mark (Debbie) Deerwester of Kenton. 4 Grandsons; Austin (Emily) Ramge, Jeromy Ramge, Jordan Ramge, Jared Ramge, 1 Great-Granddaughter; Roxlyn Ramge, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a sister; Sondra Bell and an infant brother.

Mona graduated from Kenton Senior High School and the Marion State Beauty Academy.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton, where she was heavily involved. Mona volunteered for the church's Soup Kitchen as well as St. Vincent DePaul, and helped put on the church's festival for many years.

Mona worked as a beautician,  worked in several nursing homes as an aid and also for the Hospice in Kenton.

She enjoyed collecting antiques, so much so that she traveled all over the state with her husband going to various flea markets, auctions and antique shows.

Mona loved her family, and one of her favorite things to do, was to go on "Sister" Vacations where she would travel with her sisters and close friends to explore new places.
