Funeral services for Minor M "Chip" Curl Jr. will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday August 14 2020 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Otterbein Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until time of services on Friday.
He died at 2.51 pm on Saturday August 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 10 1959 in Lima, Ohio to the late Minor M and Wilma Jean (Elwood) Curl. On May 8th 1990 he married Ivory Helton of Forest and they later divorced. 
Surviving are daughter, Mary (Arnold) Ruiz of Reseda Ca; son, Isaiah Curl of Forest; 3 brothers, Richard (Connie) Curl of Forest, Lyle (Sheila) Curl of Dunkirk; and Tom (Beverly) Curl of Middletown; sister, Sheila (Graydon) Henderson of Lima: 2 grandchildren, Aaron Cash Ruiz and Presley Monroe Ruiz.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Regina Powell and Gayle Curl.
Minor work at Diamond Plastic, Elwood Tree Trimming, and retired from Rahrig Tree Trimming.
He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. Minor also enjoyed fishing, mowing, and riding his bike. He was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
