Mary Lou passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 7, 1940, to the late Herman and Edna (Hamilton) McMahon. She married Larry G. Rainsburg on June 6, 1959, in Ridgeway, and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2005.

Surviving is her son, Gene W. (Brenda) Rainsburg of Kenton; 5 grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) Daniels of Marion, Roxie (Christopher) Cronkleton of Middleburg, Bryce (Kelsey) Rainsburg of Forest, Blake (Brook) Rainsburg of Forest and Bailey (Adrian) Reyes of Lima; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Todd Rainsburg, on October 20, 2020.

Mary Lou served the Tudor Law Office for 40 years and later served at the Hardin County Probate Court, where she retired after 10 years. 

She and her late husband were married for 47 years and traveled to countless horse shows, rodeos, and dog shows known to mankind. They belonged to the Scioto Saddle Club and the Hardin County Draft Horse Association, where she served as secretary for both organizations. She could also be found clerking auctions with her husband, while he cried the auction. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Not by Choice Outreach or the Hardin Memorial Hospital Infusion Center, both of which assisted her with her needs over the last year.
