Marjorie C. Chatelain 95
At her own request there will be no services for Marjorie Chatelain. Her cremains, along with those of her husband Edward, will be placed with her parents at the McComb Union Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
She passed from this life to be with her heavenly father on July 4, 2020. She was born to the late Charles Homer and Inez Hortence (Rader) Crook in McComb, Ohio on November 17, 1924. Her parents and siblings; Evelyn Derck, Clinton Crook, Helen Shively, and Carolyn Eddie preceded her in death.
She was a 1942 graduate of McComb High School and helped her classmates celebrate through their 75th anniversary in 2017.
On September 13, 1943 she married the love of her life, Edward W. Chatelain, in Seattle, Washington. They made their first home in Findlay, then later moved to Kenton. Ed passed from this life on August 14, 2012.
Surviving are a son; Terry C. Chatelain of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and daughters; Susan (Bruce) Graver of Forest, Sally (Connie) Chatelain-Rovelstad of Kenton, her grandchildren; Jennifer (Dan) Althaus of Bluffton, Jason (Jeri) Clum of Kenton, Julie (Jared) Freshcorn of Kenton, Forest (Bonnie) Graver of Upper Sandusky, Evan (Becky) Graver of Hollywood, FLA., her great-grandchildren; Jordan (Kayla) Brinson of Nevada, Cheryl (Gavin) Spearman of Hopkinsville, KY., Jenna (Brayden) Horne of Kenton, Emma Clum of Kenton, Joshua and Justin Freshcorn of Kenton, Patrick Graver of Hollywood, FLA., Kaytlyn Graver of Upper Sandusky and her great-great grandchildren; Reese and Remi Brinson.
Marge was a wonderful homemaker, a three-time cancer survivor, and a faithful servant of God, as a charter member of both Parkview Christian Church in Findlay and Central Church of Christ in Kenton. She was a good friend to many. She met many steadfast friends through TOPS 434 of Kenton. She will be greatly missed.
