Marilyn King passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Bluebird Retirement Community in London, Ohio. She was born on June 1, 1938, in Lima to the late Claude and Della (Hall) Gullett. On November 25, 1956, she married Harry King, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2017.

Surviving is her son, Rob (Lori) King, daughter-in-law, Vickie Hudson, grandchildren, Spencer (Kristin) King, Brendan King, Kelly (Rita) King, Foster (Mollie) King, Jonathan (Polly) King, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Keith F. King, and her twin sister, Carolyn Risner and a sister, Priscella Ochier.

Marilyn was a proud homemaker and devout Christian. She was a former member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Kenton where she was also involved with their women's group. She also had attended the First United Methodist Church in London. Marilyn was also actively involved with the community, where she was a past president of the Hardin County Hospice and she volunteered for both the Hardin County and Lima Memorial Hospitals. 

In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and canning. She loved to spend time with her sisters. Traveling with them and her husband, playing cards or shopping and always looking for a deal. 

A funeral service for Marilyn will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor David Leckrone officiating. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations in Marilyn's honor may be made to the First United Methodist Church in London, 52 N. Main Street, London, OH, 43140.
