Funeral services for Marilyn Casper will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
Marilyn died on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Vancrest of Ada. She was born on August, 8,1929 to the late Henry Marquart and Effie (Wertenberger) Marquart. She married Ohlen Casper on June, 18, 1950 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are 3 sons; Robert Casper of Dunkirk, Ronald (Jenny) Casper of Dunkirk, Roger (Joyce) Casper of Dola, 2 daughters; Debra (Joseph) Bakies of Houston, Texas, Jan (Robert) Young of Findlay, 8 grandchildren; Brian Bakies, Matthew (Misty) Bakies, Christopher Bakies, Adam (Brittany) Casper, Andrew Casper, Melissa (Don) Paullin, Rachelle Wilczynski, Jake Kilpatrick, 11 great grandchildren: Dalton Hoffart, Branton and Lakeston Bakies, Oakley Casper, Garrett and Lexi Thompson, Benjamin, Klarissa and Jordan Wilczynski, Lily and Annabella Kilpatrick.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Jody Hall and a brother; Donald Marquart.
Marilyn was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
 She enjoyed watching basketball, football and golf. She was a Pittsburg and OSU Fan. Marilyn enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved raising her plants from seeds.
Memorial donations may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
