A celebration of life for Marilyn Ann (Wertz) Bolling will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marilyn passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1966 in Kenton to the late Edward and Wanda (Fay) Wertz. On July 13, 1988 she married Roy Bolling and they later divorced.

Surviving are 3 sons; Roy (Alex Flynn) Bolling II of Mt. Victory, Jeff Bolling of Mt. Victory, Tyler Bolling of Mt. Victory, a sister; Jane (David Loverde) Richardson of Kenton, a brother; Edward (Linda) Wertz of Arkansas, 2 grandchildren; Brycen Bolling, Kolsen Bolling, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a significant other, Gil Moore.

Marilyn was a 1984 graduate of Ridgemont High School. She worked for Whirlpool in Marion for 15 years.

Marilyn was a talented seamstress and quilter. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her dogs. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games, doing word searches and sudoku puzzles. 

Memorial donations in Marilyn's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
