There will be no services for Manuela "Nellie" Wages. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nellie passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her residence in Dunkirk. She was born on April 6, 1953, in the Bronx, New York to the late Rupert and Carmen (Cruz) Lopez. In 1982, she married Wilson Wages Jr, and they later divorced.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Morningstar Ward of Santa Cruz, CA, Danielle (Dustin Scroggs) Wages of Dunkirk, a step-son, Jason Wages, 3 brothers, Rupert Lopez, Pat Lopez, Danny Lopez, 12 grandchildren, Chase Ward, Kymbrlee Wage, Tessa ward, Kayden Arnett, Cecil Potter Jr, Brendan Potter, Hank Chamberlain, Joe Chamberlain, Cynthia Chamberlain, Ali Chamberlain, Alex Chamberlain, Zayden Scroggs, great-grandchildren, Athena, Aryanna, Liam, Madison, Luther and several nieces and nephews.

In her free time, Nellie enjoyed playing chess, crocheting, writing her own books and reading her bible. Most of all, Nellie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nellie's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
