On December 15, 2021, Lou Ann Seiler peacefully passed away holding the hands of her girls. Lou Ann was born on June 30, 1957 to the late Richard Roby and Francis (Long) Roby . On July 7, 1975, she married the love of her life, John P. Seiler, and they have been together for 46 years.

Lou Ann was an amazing mother to daughters; Jaime (Roger) Nuzum of Bluffton and Jesse (Jake) Purcell of Kenton. She devoted her time to spoiling her 3 grandchildren , Hunter Nuzum and Presley and Grayson Purcell.  Lou Ann had 2 sisters; Linda Smith and Kay (Bob) Schriber and 1 brother;  Gary (Colleen) Welty. She also had 2 step brothers; Frank (Denise) Mustain and Steve (Phyliss) Mustain.  She was loved  by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father-in-law, Richard Seiler and stepmother, Donna Roby.

Lou Ann retired from the Kenton Police Department after 15 years of service as a dispatcher where she dearly loved her officers. Prior to this, she had managed the Amerihost Inn, baked delicious pies at the Plaza Inn and was a machine operator at International Paper where she formed lifelong friendships. Early in her career, Lou Ann was an EMT at BKP.

Lou Ann and John spent their free time creating and selling their unique crafts and furniture at craft shows. They were known for coming up with new ideas and beautiful pieces and were sought out by their customers each year at the Indian Lake and Apollo shows.

Lou Ann loved unconditionally. She never knew a stranger and had a way of connecting with people making them feel loved and cared for. She loved to cook and was happiest when she was feeding the entire police department at her annual 4th of July picnic. Lou Ann devoted her life to creating joy and happiness for others.

Memorial donations in Lou Ann's honor may be made to the Kenton City Police Department for their Shop With A Cop Program.
