A committal service for Linda Sue (Soloman) Reed will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Grove Cemetery Committal building in Kenton. A time of remembrance will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Kenton Coterie.  The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Linda passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Serenity Springs Senior Living Center in Arlington, Ohio. She was born on June 19, 1947, in Lima to the late Wayne and Annabell (Burdon) Soloman. She married Donald Reed and they later divorced.

Surviving are 2 sons, David (Shauna) Reed, Darren Reed, 2 sisters , Jean (Ben) Richardson, Carol Cartwright, a brother, John Wayne Soloman, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Reed and a sister, Janet Lemley.

Linda was a graduate of Lima Bath High School. She worked for Hardin Memorial Hospital for several years.

Linda loved animals, especially dogs. She was always rescuing dogs and raised several of them throughout her life. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
