of Kenton
Funeral services for Lawrence "Larry" Raymond Reissig will be private. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Larry died on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 24, 1949 in Kenton to the late Lester and Pearl VanBuskirk. On January 4, 2018 he married Penny Powell and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a sister; Diane Paul of Kenton, and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Joe Reissig, Butch VanBuskirk and a sister; Luella Style.
Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a welder for Rockwell until his retirement in 2010.
Larry enjoyed being outside doing his gardening, shooting his guns, riding his 4-wheeler and watching the hummingbirds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

When I was growing up Uncle Larry was a 2nd Dad to me. Uncle Larry, Dad and I were always going hunting and fishing. No matter what, he always had my six. He will always be in my Heart and I missing him already.

Words cannot Express how much we are all saddened by the loss of our beloved uncle Larry !! He was the most kindest,  gentlest,  happy go lucky man I know who loved & cherished his family !! He will forever be in all our hearts !! We love & miss you & please tell the rest of our loved ones we love & miss them too ❤😭 your nieces & nephews
