A private family burial for Larry Zickafoose will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Blanchard Place in Kenton. He was born on May 2, 1935 in Lima to the late Ralph and Norma (Lindemann) Zickafoose. 

Surviving are 2 sons; Todd (Jane) Zickafoose, Brett (Sarah) Zickafoose, 4 grandchildren; Jordan, Drew, Clark, Cameron, 4 siblings; Dave (Anna) Zickafoose, Jack (Iris) Zickafoose, Sugar Hassan, Pam (Steve) Miller, a sister-in-law; Jayne Zickafoose-Hollis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Zickafoose.

Larry graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1953, then went on to get his bachelor's degree in finance from The Ohio State University. Larry was a proud Army Veteran. He was a member of the Gahanna Kiwanis Club.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf with his sons, listening to music and watching movies. The family would like to thank the staff of Blanchard Place of Kenton for their care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kiwanis Ohio District or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
