Larry David ‘Doby’ Walters, Age 73, passed away peacefully October 4, 2022 at his home in Anna, Ohio. 
Larry was born in Kenton, Ohio on October 3rd, 1949, to the late Glenna (Fisher) and Dwight Walters. He is 
survived by his wife, Marijane Walters.
Larry grew up in Forrest, Ohio and graduated from Dublin High School in 1967. He married Marijane 
Davis in 1972. He is survived by his children; Craig Walters of Canal Winchester and Amy (Jamie) Rohde 
of Springboro, Ohio and his five grandchildren; Rex Walters, Cole, Nolan, Mackenzie and Morgan Rohde. 
He is also survived by his siblings; Dennis (Sophie) Walters, Marsha (Gary) Forry, Karen (the late Alan) 
Webb, Pam (Ed) Reed and Nancy (John) Cordle. And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry could light up a room with his smile and his laugh was contagious. He had a genuine love for his 
family and he especially loved his Michigan vacations. He was a great storyteller and had the best ear 
for listening to anyone that needed a friend to talk to. He had an uncanny way of making people feel 
loved. Larry was so very appreciative of all those who cared for him over the years and always enjoyed 
listening to his music with them.
He will be forever remembered by everyone that knew and loved him. There really is no way to fully 
express how much he will be missed.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00 P.M. On Monday, October 10, 2022 Hale Cemetery with Pastor Sam Budd officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is 
assisting the family with arrangements.
