A celebration of life for Kathryn Dickerson will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathy was born on July 2, 1950, in Owenton, Kentucky. She passed into the arms of Jesus on March 28, 2024, and she immediately ran to the rainbow bridge to hug all the dogs and cats she has loved in her lifetime.

Kathy left behind the loving staff at Hardin Hills and her friend, Trisha Carson. She is survived by a sister, Mary Frances Gleisinger and her nieces and nephews, Greg and Athena Bayes, Bryan and Stacy Bayes, Jeff and Mary Bayes, Twila and Raymond Tackett, and Tammy and Steve McCloud.

Kathy was preceded in death by her foster parents, Alice and Peter Gleisinger, her sister, Alberta (Carl) Bayes, and an uncle, Charles Bayes. 

Kathy worked for many years at Harco in Kenton. She will always be remembered for her love of jewelry, dog movies, and anything animal related.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathy's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
