A funeral service for Kathleen ``Kathy" Ann (Nickell) Hensley will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 20, 2024, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Bill Prater officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. 

Kathy passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her home in Kenton. She was born on March 1, 1954, in Kenton to the late Melvin Wayne and Martha (Shaffer) Nickell. On March 31, 1980, she married Bruce Hensley, and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are a daughter, Tiffany Louise (Drew) Snow, sons, Bryce Wayne (Valerie) Hensley, Derek Ray (Amanda Miller) Hensley, a brother, Gregory Allan (Maura) Nickell, 7 grandchildren: Adrian Wayne Hensley, Collin Bright, Joel Bright, John Seely, Leola Snow, Jamison Cummins, Connor Reeden and several nice and nephews.

Kathy graduated from USV in 1972. She went on to get her associates degree and worked as an LPN for Hardin Memorial Hospital, Hardin Hills and other local nursing homes. 

Kathy enjoyed cooking, watching movies and listening to music. Most importantly, Kathy loved her family and enjoyed just going out to eat with them or spending time with them however she could.

Memorial donations in Kathy's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
