Graveside services for Joel Rager will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Rager Family Cemetery with Pastor Lee Bates officiating. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the services at the Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
Joel passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the OSU Hospital. He was born on October 08, 1963, in Kenton to Shirley (Rush) Rager and the late Donald Rager. He married Laura Hubbard in 2004, and she survives in Forest.
Also surviving are his children; Mackenzie (Gunner) Dillon of Ada, Clay Rager of Forest, 3 brothers; Bret Rager of Columbus, Todd Rager of Forest, Kent (Jennifer Vansky) Rager of Kenton, 2 grandchildren; Easton and Elsie Dillon, and niece, Christine (Daniel Powers) Rager.
Joel retired as a truck driver from Precision Strip after many years.
He was an avid Ohio State and Browns fan. Joel loved to camp and occasionally would do some woodworking, but his biggest passion was his Brown Swiss Cows.
Memorial donations in Joel's honor may be made to the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
