Joan Louise Kauble McBride 84

of Forest

 

Joan Louise Kauble McBride passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Serenity Springs in Arlington. She was born on October 16, 1941, in Forest, Ohio to the late Myron and Helen (Eckels) Kauble. She married Don LeMaster in1961 and they later divorced. She then married Larry McBride on October 16, 1992 and he survives in Forest.

Also surviving are her 2 children, Teresa (Andy) Kenton of Dunkirk, Joe LeMaster of Warner Robins, GA, a step-son, Donn McBride, 2 grandchildren, Amanda LeMaster, Matthew LeMaster, 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Anthony, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Kauble, and a sister, Carolyn Snider.

Joan graduated from Forest High School in 1959. She then went to work for United Aircraft, now Triumph for 44 years before retiring. She was a member of the Grant Fellowship Church.

In her free time, Joan enjoyed swedish weaving and spending time with her church family. She was also an avid reader and had read many, many books.

Funeral services for Joan will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations in Joan's honor may be made to the Forest Jackson Library.
