Joan Friermood

Funeral services for Joan Friermood will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Price McElroy Funeral home in Mt. Victory, Ohio with Pastor David LaDuke officiating.  Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
She died Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton, Ohio.
She was born June 9, 1932 in Mt. Victory to the late Edwin J. McCullough and J. Irene (Endsley) McCullough.
On August 10, 1951 she married George H. Friermood in Richmond, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on July 6, 2006.
Surviving are 2 sons, Duane (Carol), and Dwight (Roxanne), both of Mt. Victory, 1 daughter Denise (Kenny) Stout of Raymond, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren with one of the way. 
Joan was a baptized member of the Rhinehart United Methodist Church.  She worked for a brief time at Marion Industries and after marriage, enjoyed working the farm with George and raising their family.  Joan also enjoyed gardening, reading, watching her favorite shows and most of all spending time with family.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice and Hardin Hills Health Center.
