There will be no services for Janet M. McKee. It was her wish to be cremated.  A burial will take place at Grove Cemetery at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Janet died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital. She was born on December 25,1943 in Kenton to the late Robert and Dorothy (Sherman) Holmes. She married Clarence McKee Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2020. 
Surviving are 1 daughter; Cindy (Greg) McKenna of Kenton, 3 sons; Greg (Paula) McKee of Bellefontaine, Jody McKee of Kenton, Jimmy McKee of Kenton, 1 sister; Judy Alloway of Kenton, 2 brothers; James (Annetta) Holmes of Kenton, Robert Holmes Jr. of Kenton, 4 grandchildren; Jennifer (Aaron) Penix of Bellefontaine, Austin McKenna of Kenton, Rachael McKenna of Kenton, Brigid McKee of Upper Arlington, 1 step grandson; Aaron (Anna) Daniels of Worthington, 2 great-grandchildren; Hayleigh and Dalton Penix, 2 step grandchildren; Liam and Mila Daniels and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister-in-law; Sondra Homes.
Janet retired from the Bank of Ohio in Kenton. She volunteered at the Hardin Memorial Hospital and was a member and former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Janet loved her family and her friends in the U.S and Canada.
Memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Star or Universal Home Health & Hospice.
