James "Jim" Kelly

A graveside service for James "Jim" Kelly will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Dola Cemetery with Pastor Donald Webb officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jim passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Vancrest of Ada. He was born on March 9, 1941 in Kenton to the late Clarence and Nellie (Switzer) Kelly. On January 5, 1962 he married Wanda Lease and she survives in Dola.
Also surviving are 4 daughters; Brenda (Gary Dunahue) Price of Dola, Tamara (Loren Pusey) Price of Alger, Victoria (Douglas) Vanatta of Arlington, Melissa Kelly of Dola, a sister; Carol (Jim) Collier of Wooster, 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son; Mike Kelly and 2 sisters; Ave First and Betty Sanderson.
Jim was a life member of the Kenton Eagles where he spent a lot of time holding various officer positions over many years. Jim also went to Wendy's everyday, where he met up with his friends to talk and eat. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim's honor may be made to Gideons International.
