Jacqueline J. Brown, 77, passed away Monday, August 14th, at Vancrest of Ada.  She was born on July 21st, 1946, in Kenton, Ohio to Gene and Barbara (Stewart) Brown.  She is survived by her mother, Barbara Brown of Kenton, a son, Lance (Anna) Brown-Grant of Blacklick, Ohio, grandchildren, Dillon (Kaylee) Brown-Grant and Falyn Brown Grant, and great-grandchildren: Elouise, Adeline, and Foster, all of Blacklick, Ohio.  Also surviving is a sister, Charlotte (Jack) Banks of Pickerington, Ohio, a brother, Ronald (Jeannie) Brown of Kenton, and three nieces and a nephew.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gene C. Brown.

Jackie graduated from Kenton Senior High School in 1964 and attended Central State University.  She worked for over 25 years at Rockwell in Kenton as an administrative assistant.  She then spent her retirement years working in childcare.

Jackie loved caring for people, especially children.  She touched the hearts of everyone she met.  Jackie also loved her family and friends.  Her front porch was often filled with visitors sharing stories and laughter. 

In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private service will be held at Grove Cemetery.  The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family is requesting donations be made in Jackie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Diabetes Association, or the American Heart Association.
