of Kenton
A memorial service for Helen J. (Madison) Worthington will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Helen passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on May 14, 1943, in Patterson, Ohio to the late Earl and Thelma (Devore) Madison. She married Ronald Lee Marsh Sr. in 1960, and they later divorced, then on November 18, 1986, she married Curtis Worthington, and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 children, Rhonda Marsh of Kenton, Ronald Lee (April) Marsh of Kenton, Andrew (Kirstie Matthews) Worthington of Kenton, a brother, Franklin (Valerie) Madison of Kenton, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ronda Sue Marsh, and her siblings, Carl Eugen Madison, Lillian Christine Wentz, Jack Madison, Gary Madison, Robert Madison, Richard Madison, Sharon Madison, Norman Madison, Billy Madison, and James Madison.
Helen worked for Essex Wire for several years but mostly worked as a home provider of daycare.
In 1973 she was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness and became a member of the Kingdom Hall in Kenton.
In her free time, Helen enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, and baking her famous pies. She also enjoyed going on cruises and traveling.
Jehovah and family are what was most important to Helen, especially her grandchildren, that she loved dearly.
