Funeral services for Gerald "Jerry" Lee Bower will be held at 12:00 PM. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at The Price-McElroy Funeral in Kenton with Pastor Willis Moe and Kevin McGowan officiating. Family and friends may visit 1 hour prior to the services and the funeral home.

Gerald (Jerry) Lee Bower, 76, of Hepburn went to be with the Lord at 10:15 A.M. on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on September 08, 1948, in Lima, Ohio to the late William Franklin and Frieda Maxine (Rudasill) Bower. On September 27, 2008, he married Carolyn (McCombs) Bower, and she survives in Kenton. 

Also surviving are his daughters; Shannon (Jason Johnson) Bower-Yule, Tabitha Scott, bonus sons; Michael, Patrick (Beth), Ryan Sindledecker, grandchildren; Jordan and Haley Davie, Tiffany Henry, Amanda (James) Metz, great granddaughters; Tegan and Helena Songco, Chloe Metz, numerous bonus grand and great grandchildren, sisters; Betty (Jim) Calvin, Virginia (Ron) Gonya, brother; Robert (Patricia) Bower, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William "Bill" Bower, son-in-law, Randy Scott, nephew, Daniel Bower, niece, Christina Bower, and great grandson, James Wyatt Metz.

Jerry was a graduate of Ridgemont High School. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Kenton.

Jerry was a jack of all trades. He was a co-owner with his daughter, Shannon, of Bower Renovations for many years. He could fix anything that needed to be fixed.

He was an avid lover of trains and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jerry loved spending time with family and friends and attending his grandchildren's events. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Memorial donations in Jerry's honor may be made to the Central Church of Christ in Kenton or the Hospice of the donor's choice.
