A graveside service for Gary Hair will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2022  at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building with Pastor David Dooley officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gary died on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. He was born on December 29, 1947 in Lima to the late Virgil and Marie (Truax) Hair. On February 22, 1968 he married the love of his life, Joyce Conrad and she preceded him in death on September 7, 2008.
Surviving are a son; Scott (April) Hair of West Mansfield, daughter; Megan (Bo Kelly) Hair of Bellefontaine, grandchildren; Gage (Erin Van Eerten) Hair of Bucyrus, Jordan (Chris Gheen) Hair of Kenton, Brook (Mason Treen) Hair of Kenton, Stella Kelly of Bellefontaine, Mandy Steele of Kenton, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law; Lynn Hair, and a brother-in-law; Mike Snyder.
He was preceded in death by a daughter; Angie Hair, a brother; Dennis Hair, and 2 sisters; Sherril Burry and Vickie Snyder.
Gary worked for Rockwell for over 30 years before retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed being a father and papaw to his grandchildren. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and taking long vacations with her to Florida. Gary was a man of faith and was looking forward to being reunited with Joyce.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gary's honor may be made to Not By Choice.
